#Emerging #Engineers seeks to empower minds in the engineering domain to achieve this.
We have as Mission to move from nothing to something and not moving from ‘nothing to everything’ for a reason. The ‘some’ in something shows that one can start little and grow up. You must not have everything before you succeed. You can begin with little and elevate yourself from nothing to something. It’s a whole process that needs intentionality, consistency and focus.

We’re the Emerging Engineers, a group of passionate individuals on a journey guided by the incredible mentorship of Engr. Elsie Jaja. Starting from the ground up, we’ve learned the true value of hard work, perseverance, and the importance of having a mentor by our side.
As Emerging Engineers, we thrive on turning obstacles into opportunities and failures into lessons learned. We’re constantly evolving, staying ahead of the curve with emerging technologies and trends, and pushing ourselves to reach new heights.
Collaboration is key for us. We believe in leveraging each other’s strengths, supporting one another, and being accountable as a team. With resilience and innovative thinking, we’re here to inspire others and prove that greatness is achievable for anyone with the right mindset.

Empowerment through Mentorship
At Emerging Engineers, our mission is to empower aspiring engineering minds to transcend limitations and progress from nothing to something extraordinary. Through dedicated mentorship, enlightening seminars, impactful progress presentations, and compassionate counseling, we aim to cultivate a community of resilient and innovative engineers. We are committed to nurturing talent, fostering growth, and instilling confidence in overcoming challenges, thereby shaping the next generation of successful and socially responsible engineers. Together, we believe in turning dreams into reality and building a future where engineering excellence knows no bounds.
Mentorship
We closely supervise the annual activity plan of each group member. Upon admission to the emerging engineers group, each member is required to submit a one-year activity plan. Subsequently, members will present monthly progress reports on the execution of their activity plans.
Certifications
Training and mentorship on essential certification programs are provided to emerging engineers. We maintain consistent and close follow-up with groups who register for certification programs of interest and assist them in registering for their certification exams. The domains of certification programs include Telecommunication and Network Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, IT, Machine Learning, and Data Analysis.
Scholarship Opportunities in Engineering
We help group members find scholarships in engineering and other fields of interest by studying opportunities, requirements, and fees. We also offer close mentorship, including CV and essay writing.
Seminars
We host biannual seminars aimed at educating the community about emerging engineering groups. Key topics related to “Emerging Technology” will be identified and presented by experienced and qualified experts in those fields.
Summer School
The summer school program is designed to introduce pupils, secondary, and high school students to fundamental engineering concepts. The curriculum includes short courses on essential engineering topics, complemented by brief projects that these aspiring engineers are assigned to complete.
Entrepreneurship/Job Seek Skills Acquisition
We provide comprehensive training programs focused on skills acquisition for entrepreneurship and job seeking within the engineering sectors.
Research & Projects
We provide training for postgraduate members to enhance their research skills. Our focus includes writing and publishing in top-tier journals, developing research projects addressing local issues, and applying for grants.
Product
We design and create our products and brand for both local and international markets, using the outcomes of our research activities.
